Founded in 2009, Poth Productions — affectionately known as PP — is one of Australia's biggest South-East Asian creative cultural organisations, with over 120 members and a bold vision for what Bengali art can be on the world stage.

Who We Are
Poth Productions is the cultural partner of BCA Boishakhi Mela Sydney for 15 years — the biggest Boishakhi Mela celebration outside Bangladesh, with over 15,000 live audience members from every corner of the Australasian Bangladeshi diaspora. Blending Bangladeshi, South Asian and Western artistic influences to deliver original musical, theatrical and visually engaging stage shows, PP's approach to musical-theatrical production is a first-time attempt for any individual or group within any Bengali diaspora around the globe.

BCA Boishakhi Mela
Poth Productions is the proud cultural production partner of BCA Boishakhi Mela Sydney — the biggest Boishakhi Mela celebration outside Bangladesh. For fifteen consecutive years, PP has brought together over 15,000 live audience members from every corner of the Australasian Bangladeshi diaspora for a day of music, dance, theatre and shared heritage.
PP's creative team draws on a diverse, multicultural taste in music, dance and art design. Its artisans craft exquisite props and lavish sets. Through the integration of striking and vivid audio visuals, PP's theatrical storytellers tap into and portray various aspects of our realism — from nationalism, historical inspirations and cultural evolution, all the way to the purest of notions: love.
